BiographyYuri was abandoned when he was a tiny baby in the middle of a forest in the wizarding world. Crying and starving, the boy was all alone without parents. Luckily, a wizard by the name of Hanks Lowell was walking by and found the young boy. He didn't know what the boy's name was or if the tiny baby even received one so Hanks called him Yuri.

Following that, Yuri was raised in Birmingham, England where he was surrounded by poverty and people doing all they could to survive. When he was 4, he was fighting with some bullies who were beating up weaker kids and would've gotten injured were it not for the arrival of another boy who helped him beat up the bullies. That was Flynn Scifo. The two grew very close together, this being even more so when Yuri after getting a letter from Hogwarts when he was 11 and discovering Flynn got one too. Both were sorted into Gryffindor.

When Yuri was 14, Hanks was asked to take care of his niece due to her parents having problems at home. That girl was Rita Mordio. Yuri enjoys teasing her and calling her nerdy due to her constantly having her nose buried in some book or another. At the age of 17, Yuri found a stray, strange looking dog with a scar on one side of his face named Repede, who is a very handy thief and extremely intelligent. The two are very close, so close that they pretty much understand what the other is saying. Unfortunately, Yuri had to leave Repede at home due to the cats, even though he would argue that Repede isn't interested in hurting any of them.

Yuri and Flynn both wanted Justice for everyone, for the bad to get what they deserved. Upon entering their sixth year, they made a vow to join the Aurors and change the world for the better. Yuri and Flynn started their training to become Aurors right after graduating. However, their paths would split at this point. Yuri excelled at everything but left the Aurors several months after joining while Flynn continued his training. There was no real justice there, in Yuri's opinion. The wizarding world was just like the muggle one; those that are wealthy or powerful receive lesser punishments than the poor despite the crime. He came to the conclusion he would help the weaker by his own means. Do what is just... and punish the unjust.

Since leaving the Aurors, he has truly carried out his vigilante form of justice on a single occasion. It was two years ago with a corrupt millionaire who was practically slave-driving the people of a small, nearby village, even getting rid of those who wouldn't work and they were simply labeled as missing. Yuri came in the middle of the night, killing him before the man could kill anyone else. He is currently planning a second murder of an equally cruel and despicable man in the Aurors, who is a pure-blood that Yuri believes, due in part to certain events in Hogwarts, is harnessing muggleborns and tricking them to work for him in exchange for making them apart of the ministry of magic, something that is obviously a lie. It's not so much a question of if Yuri will carry out his vigilante form of justice, but when he'll decide to do it.

Recently, Yuri has gotten into many fights with the local police while doing good deeds for the sake of others and getting arrested frequently because of it. Hanks had enough of wasting money on bailing his son out of jail so he pulled a few strings and got him a TA job at Hogwarts. Naturally, Yuri wasn't that excited about it, but it did beat getting arrested again. He's already taught here for 6 months or so and found that it wasn't that bad of job.

During the summer, Hanks had asked Yuri to do some remodeling work for him on the house since it was pretty much falling apart. There was no way Yuri would let Hanks work on it himself so he helped out and that's why he back came this late in the school year.

RelationshipsRita Mordio //bookworm// His cousin, not by blood. Hanks took her in when she was 8. Yuri enjoys teasing her and they have a love/hate relationship.

Raimei Shimizu //princess// A 6th year Gryffindor. She reminds Yuri of his best friend, Flynn, which makes him feel very comfortable around her. Yuri was one of the few that supported her getting revenge against Raikou.

~~Franken Stein //nutcase// The Professor Yuri works under. Yuri doesn't really like the guy. He's not scared of him so much as uncertain whether he's good or evil.~~

Alfred F. Jones //Al// A 6th year Gryffindor. Yuri loves teasing this kid and Alfred hates it. So far the teasing has gone from dropping babies to Alfred's low sperm count. Through all this, Yuri knows that Alfred is a pretty good guy.

Rikku // 6th year Hufflepuff. He helped her crash a pureblood party, which was pretty damned fun. She's a pretty fun person so Yuri doesn't mind talking with her.

Guy Cecil //Flynn #2// CoMC TA. Yuri first talked to him when he noticed how similar he was to Flynn. During one event he even thought that he was Flynn, which gave Yuri the chance to let out some steam. Guy's a fun guy to hang out with.

Nuriko //Riko// Astronomy TA. Yuri finds Nuriko pretty fun and likes that he also works out. Nuriko's good for conversations.

Utena //Tena// 6th year Gryffindor. If it's one thing Yuri admires about her it's her resolve to become a prince. Of course, he teases her about needing to go up in rank first and calls her a knight instead of a princess.

Kharl // Transfigurations Professor. The current professor Yuri works under. He doesn't mind the guy and considers him to be one hell of an improvement from Stein.

Fun Facts

1. Yuri is ambidextrous. This means he is both right and left handed.
2. He knows how to use a sword and finds it more fun than using a wand because he enjoys flipping the sword and doing tricks with it.
3. Yuri does not know his exact age. His birthday is the day Hanks found him.
4. His one weakness is anything sweet. Chocolate, candy, ice cream etc...
5. The only person he trusts is Flynn. Everyone else he tries to distance himself from to a certain extent, even unconsciously, so that they don't get too involved with someone like him.
6. Yuri has no sense of shame and is very blunt about everything. However, he also enjoys getting into mischief and playing pranks on people.
7. While Yuri is pretty good at spells and curses, he is horrible at charms. He just can't do them properly and to this day he has no idea how he passed that class.
8. Yuri knows how to cook and pretty damned well at that. It due to having to cook as a kid so he wouldn't suffer eating another's inedible cooking.
9. In SH, Yuri can also play the guitar. He usually uses an old one from the 70s that Hanks owns. Flynn still beats him at the guitar.
